At Balanced Psychiatry, our commitment is to engage you in effectively moving towards a more deeply satisfying, rewarding, and joyful life, no matter what struggles or challenges you are facing.
Providing telehealth treatment in the following states:
NY, NJ, CA, CT, FL, IL, KS, OH, PA, TX, and VA.
Together we strive to reduce your distress, enhance your resilience to handle whatever challenges arise, and deliberately help you create a fuller and more meaningful life.
Our patients seek treatment for a wide variety of reasons. Some are facing a specific problem, are experiencing symptoms, or may have received a diagnosis which troubles them, while others have a more general sense of not feeling “satisfied” or “quite right.” Since our patients have a diverse range of concerns and/or symptoms, treatment always begins with an initial consultation in which we make a concerted effort to connect with you. Our priority is to not just generate or confirm a clinical conceptualization of your symptoms or make a diagnostic impression, but to also understand what personally motivates you and what treatment outcomes would be most important to you.
We aim to work with you in a way that is not only caring and compassionate but also based in the latest clinical knowledge, skillful, and effective. Our belief is that effective treatment is a collaborative process. Working together with you, we jointly develop personalized strategies to produce concrete results. We place an emphasis on personal empowerment and the use of self help where appropriate, as we have found that these are strong predictors of successful treatment outcomes.
