Philosophy
Dr. Batista communicates with her clients with clarity and ensures they have all the information they need to make the right treatment choices. She uses a wide range of approaches, including psychopharmacology and psychotherapy (namely cognitive-behavioral or psychodynamic). She strongly believes in providing care to every person by considering their symptoms holistically, taking a mind-body approach that incorporates physical and mental health together. For those who already have a therapist, she focuses on pharmacology and medication management while closely collaborating with the therapist.

Dr. Batista feels passionately that both genders deserve a tailored approach to their mental health needs. She cares about working with women across the lifespan to address concerns such as mood disorders related to the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and menopause.
