For Referring Clinicians

Thoughtful psychiatric consultation. Collaborative ongoing care.

I partner with therapists and other clinicians caring for adults with OCD, anxiety, and women’s mental health concerns. Patients may be starting psychiatric care for the first time, seeking diagnostic clarification, or reconsidering treatment that hasn’t helped enough. I welcome referrals for consultation and ongoing psychiatric care.

Private-pay, out-of-network practice

With patient consent, I follow up with referring clinicians within 42–72 hours of the consultation, often making contact the same day whenever possible.

Our Collaboration Promise

Working together for your patient

I especially enjoy diagnostic and consultation work: bringing together the patient’s history, medical context, prior treatment, and your clinical perspective to develop a clearer understanding and useful next steps.

When a patient has an established therapist, my role is to complement and support that work. My training in psychotherapy informs how I approach assessment and treatment, and I value the understanding you bring to the patient’s care. With patient consent, we communicate directly and coordinate our roles while you remain their treating therapist.

Suggest a patient Fit Call

For patients who would like to ask questions before booking an evaluation, you can suggest an optional 20-minute video Fit Call with Dr. Batista. This is separate from the 10-minute clinician call.

The Fit Call costs $100, credited toward an evaluation booked within 30 days. It is a nonclinical conversation: no diagnosis, medical advice, or treatment recommendations are provided. Patients can also book an evaluation directly.
